The legendary Canadian rock band Rush is going on tour next summer, making it the first time reforming since the group’s beloved drummer passed away.
Lead singer Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson have announced that a Rush-reunion tour entitled ‘Fifty Something’ is set to play through seven cities across North America from early June to mid-September.
The circa 1968 band has not hit the road since the R40 Live 40th Anniversary Tour in 2015, and five years have passed since drummer Neil Peart lost his battle with brain cancer at the age of 67.
Award-winning German composer Anika Nilles will be taking over the sticks on the 12-date tour.
Rush will perform in Toronto on Aug. 7 and Aug. 9, 2026.
Ticket pre-sales begin next Monday, and general tickets will go on sale on Oct. 17.
