Roger Stone charged in Russia Probe.

A long time associate of U.S. President Donald Trump has been charged with lying to Congress, witness tampering and obstructing justice.

Roger Stone was indicted Thursday and arrested this morning at his Florida home as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

He faces one count of obstruction of an official proceeding, five counts of making false statements and one count of witness tampering.

The indictment provides details of how Trump campaign associates were aware that emails had been stolen from the Hillary Clinton campaign as early as summer 2016.

Stone is expected to appear in court today.
