Halton police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who assaulted a teen girl at her home in Burlington earlier this month.

Officers say that on Aug. 6 at around 2:50 p.m. a teen girl was coming home from a bike ride and entered her garage which is in the area of Headon Road and Deer Run Avenue in Burlington.

She was then approached by a man who asked her for a drink of water, according to investigators.

Police say the man then grabbed her arm while she was trying to help him and she pulled away, freeing herself from his grip.

The man then walked away toward his vehicle, a white SUV that was parked on the street, officers say.
