Police investigating after rocks thrown through four Oakville businesses

Halton police are investigating after four Oakville businesses had rocks thrown through their windows between several days.

Officers say the incidents happened between Aug. 26 and Sept. 1 in the hours between 11:30 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Police say the four stores in the Bronte Harbour area of Oakville had to close after the attack and that although there is no known connection between the businesses they are believed to be targeted.

Investigators have obtained surveillance video of the man they believe to be the suspect.

The man has been described as white with dark hair and a dark beard and moustache. He was seen wearing dark pants, dark hoodie and gloves.

Police say the suspect was seen riding a black electric scooter.
