Oakville man dies in motorcyle collision that shut down part of Hwy. 403 near Hamilton’s Linc

An Oakville man has died following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 403 near the Lincoln Alexander Parkway in Hamilton on Monday afternoon.

The collision was between a motorcycle operated by a 20-year-old and a sedan. Police say the man was treated on-scene for his critical injuries and died later at a local hospital.

Three left lanes of westbound Highway 403 were closed shortly after 2 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. for the OPP investigation.

The driver of the car was not injured and remained on the scene. No charges have been laid and police say the investigation is ongoing.
