Lanes on QEW Toronto-bound in Grimsby reopened: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police reopened lanes on the QEW Toronto-bound near Christie Street in Grimsby after a brief closure Wednesday morning.

Officers posted on X at around 5:30 a.m. that two lanes were closed, and asked commuters to drive carefully.

Police posted over an hour later that all lanes on the road had reopened.

They have not said why the roads were initially closed.
