OPP close all Toronto-bound lanes in St. Catharines after ten vehicle collision

The Ontario provincial Police (OPP) have blocked all Toronto-bound lanes due to two collisions involving ten cars.

Officers say the first crash happened under the overpass near Niagara Street and involved three cars.
Police confirm that one person has been taken to hospital from this collision with minor injuries.
After the first crash blocked two lanes of traffic, a secondary crash happened between two tractor trailers and five vehicles.
Authorities say they are still assessing the injuries in the second collision but they do not believe any injuries to be life-threatening.
Authorities say the second crash happened near Welland Avenue and two people have been brought to hospital but the severity of the injuries have not been confirmed.
All Toronto-bound lanes at Niagara Street in St. Catharines are closed and police advise using alternate routes.
