One person in hospital after stabbing in Stoney Creek

One person is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a stabbing in Stoney Creek last night.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. on Federal Street, near Highway 8 and Green Road.

Hamilton police arrived at a home and “found a victim with an injury that is consistent with a stab wound.”

Police say there was no information or evidence to work with, and no witnesses would cooperate. As a result, no charges have been laid.
