Niagara police arrest six people following drug investigation in St. Catharines

Niagara Regional Police Service has arrested six people, four from St. Catharines, following an investigation into a home believed to be involved in the distribution of illegal drugs.

  • Niagara Police conducted a search warrant of a property in St. Catharines on July 10, resulting in the six arrests and seizures of the following:
  • 73.7 gram of suspected fentanyl
  • 157.4 grams of suspected cocaine
  • 5.9 grams of suspected crack cocaine
  • 35 pills of suspected dilaudid
  • 60 pills of suspected oxycodone
  • 535 pills of suspected methamphetamine
  • $1980 in Canadian Currency
  • $400 in United States Currency

The arrested and changed individuals are Alexander Sneyd, 41, Nicole Goossen, 32, Lance Evans, 59 and Brandon Marleau, 41 with several drug related offences.

The suspects appeared in court for a bail hearing on July 11, Goossen and Evans were released with future court dates and Sneyd and Marleau were held in custody to await their court appearance.

Two additional individuals who were wanted by the NRPS were arrested.
