Niagara police have charged a 45-year-old man after a search at a Niagara Falls home Tuesday led to the seizure of an amount of illegal drugs.

Officers say they began an investigation earlier this summer into a person allegedly selling narcotics out of a home in the area of Main and Barker Streets in Niagara Falls.

Police executed a search warrant at that home Tuesday and arrested 45-year-old Stephen Davis as a result of the search.

Detectives say at the home they found and seized:

  • 526 grams of suspected fentanyl;
  • Nearly 55 grams of suspected cocaine;
  • 22.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine;
  • $12,395 in cash;
  • A working stun gun, and an operational police or military-grade flash bang grenade.

Davis has been charged with offenses related to possessing illegal drugs, possessing a prohibited weapon, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

They are scheduled to attend a bail hearing at a St. Catharines courthouse Wednesday, and will remain in custody until then.
