Niagara duo charged in historic child sexual exploitation case

Niagara police have arrested and charged two people following an investigation into child sexual exploitation that dates back to 2007.
The force’s internet child exploitation unit opened the case in May.
Officers say child sexual abuse material led them to identify a suspect. Police say their investigation later uncovered additional evidence and multiple victims.
As a result, 49-year-old Justin Murray Wayne Lee, of Welland was arrested and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, making child pornography and possession of child pornography.

Investigators also arrested and charged 49-year-old Thalia Rachelle Hiscoe of Wallaceburg, Ont., was also arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
The pair remain in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for Wednesday in St. Catharines.
Detectives say they believe there may be additional victims.
