New Blackberry smartphone on the way

Another new Blackberry smartphone is on the way.

The Blackberry Z30 comes with a five-inch display, so it’s about the same size as the Samsung Galaxy S4.

The company says the phone has many new software features and a larger battery that will last up to 25 hours.

The new phone will be available in Canada before Christmas but a specific date will be announced in the coming weeks.

So far, none of the Blackberry 10 devices have proven to be commercial successes, and the Z30 will hit stores not long after the latest iPhones.

Blackberry is in the midst of major changes with its organization and recently formed a special committee to consider strategic alternatives, which could include its sale.
