Movie shoot in Waterdown

Film crews remain in Waterdown for shooting the Hollywood movie “The Calling.”

Star Susan Sarandon wasn’t spotted on the set Friday. However, she is set to play a Port Dundas police detective. Scenes for the feature film are being shot at a Fifth Concession Road East home. Film crews are also taking exterior shots at Village Fish and Chips, in the heart of Waterdown. The movie also features actress Ellen Burstyn. Not many other details about the movie are available right now.
