Mississauga man killed in triple shooting

A man was shot to death early Sunday morning at a restaurant in downtown Toronto.

According to police, the victim is 32 -year-old Tariq Mohamed of Mississauga.

Two women were also shot, but are expected to recover.

It happened at the Garden restaurant at Dundas and Chestnut Street at around 4 AM.

Police say the victims were sitting at a table together when they began arguing with a group of two to three men.

That’s when one of the men pulled out a gun and started to fire shots.

Police guess there were about 30 people inside the restaurant at the time.

The shooter is described as a black man in his twenties with a “lanky” build.

He’s said to be about 5’10″and was wearing a black hoodie and black toque.

A second suspect is described as a black man in his twenties with a stocky build.

He’s said to be shorter than the shooter, and wore his hair in cornrows.

The two men were last seen running southbound on Chestnut Street.
