Man facing charges after St. Catharines stabbing

Niagara police have arrested and charged a 25-year-old man after a stabbing in St. Catharines last night. 

Officers responded to the area of Carlton Street and Sunnylea Drive on Tuesday around 8 p.m. and found a 32-year-old man with significant stab wounds.

Police said the victim was transported to an out-of-region hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Detectives have charged Drezden Tremblay, 25, with aggravated assault and held him in custody until his bail hearing Nov. 12.
