Josh Donaldson officially signs deal with Toronto Blue Jays

It’s official!

The Toronto Blue Jays have officially signed MVP 3rd baseman Josh Donaldson to a two year contract worth $28.65 million dollars U.S.

The reigning American League most valuable player had been scheduled for an arbitration hearing on February 15th if a deal was not reached.

Blue Jays Spring Training begins February 21st with the Pitchers and Catchers reporting to camp. Position players will report to camp February 26 and the Blue Jays first preseason game will take place March 1st against the Philadelphia Phillies.
