Job fair to be held Wednesday for Hamilton’s newly renovated TD Coliseum

For Hamiltonians looking for a part-time job, the newly named and renovated TD Coliseum is hosting a job fair starting Wednesday, ahead of its November grand opening.

The job fair will be happening from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the First Ontario Concert Hall.

The arena is looking to fill over 600 part-time positions.

All you have to do is walk in with your resumes, apply for the job you’re interested in and then speak to the hiring managers.

Registration is not even required, it’s a public event.

There are a number of positions available including fan experiences like ushers and ticket takers, operations and working in the box office.

There’s also roles available in security, food and beverage and premium services.

A full list of all the jobs available are listed on the Oakview Group careers page including a job summary, qualifications needed and overview of responsibilities.

Jobs start at minimum wage, which will be $17.60 cents when the venue opens, but obviously varies based on positions.

The nearly $300 million renovated space is set to open on Nov. 21 with Paul McCartney and other star studded performances from Andrea Bocelli, Brad Paisley and the Junos next year

All you need to bring with you is your resume, a piece of ID and any relevant certifications.
