Heat warning starting Thursday for Hamilton, Golden Horseshoe

Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for much of the Golden Horseshoe.
The heat warning applies to:
- The City of Hamilton
- Halton Region
- Niagara Region
- Haldimand County
- Brantford and Brant County
The warning is expected to last from Thursday into the weekend in some areas.
Environment Canada warns of a daytime high of 35 C and a humidex that could make it feel closer to 44 C.
The nighttime low wont provide much relief, with a low between 20 C and 23 C.
These temperatures will be similar across all regions under the warning.
Friday will be similarly hot with a daytime high of 30 C with a humidex near 40 C.
Again, nighttime lows will provide little relief, sitting around 21 C.
The hottest temperatures will come on Thursday but nighttime lows will remain high throughout the weekend.
Environment Canada advises taking action to protect yourself and others from the heat.
