Hamilton Health Sciences could shut down one of their hospitals in the next decade.  It is one of the possibilities that was considered during a stakeholder summit on Hamilton Health Sciences twenty year vision.  The focus is expected to be finalized in June.  HHS president Ron MacIsaac would rather see smaller clinics, so people can get care closer to home.  Hamilton Health Sciences has one of the largest hospital networks in the province, with seven hospitals, three centres and one research institute.
