Former QP correspondent speaks about CUSMA, tariffs, Carney’s nation-building projects

CHCH news anchor Matt Ingram spoke with political analyst and former Queen’s Park correspondent Keith Leslie about Prime Minister Mark Carney’s meeting in Ottawa with Doug Ford on Monday.

There was lots of talk about building up the economy in the face of Trump’s tariffs. Keith explained if we are headed to a place where our leaders are less concerned about a deal with the Americans and more concerned with adapting to the reality of tariff uncertainty.

Keith also discussed if there were other areas where he thinks Ford and Carney could work closer together on economic issues.
