Fish and breast cancer

Eating fish a couple times a week may lower your risk for breast cancer.

Researchers in China combined data from nearly two dozen studies, and found people who ate two portions of fish rich in polyunsaturated fats like salmon or mackerel, had a 14% reduced risk for breast cancer. Plant-derived fats, like those found in walnuts and some oils, did not affect the risk for the disease. Experts say the findings are interesting but more rigorous testing is needed.
