Fire destroys Lakeshore mansion

Investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office are trying to figure out what sparked a huge fire in Burlington Tuesday night.

It started just after 6:30 at a mansion that was just being finished on Lakeshore Road between Walkers Line and Appleby Line. By the time firefighters arrived, flames had engulfed the double garage and were spreading to the rest of the house.
