Federal judge denies Trump’s request to unseal Ghislaine Maxwell grand jury files

A federal judge has denied the Trump administration’s request to unseal Grand Jury materials from the Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficking case.

The development came after the justice department sought to release the material from cases involving Maxwell’s associate Jeffery Epstein.

The Trump administration has faced growing backlash this summer in relation to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The administration breaking its promise to release more information about the Epstein case sparked outrage among many of Trump’s supporters.
