Eastbound Hwy. 403 in Brantford reopens following ‘fatal incident’

The eastbound lanes of Highway 403 in Brantford have reopened nearly 16 hours after a “fatal incident” early Monday morning.
All eastbound lanes of the highway between King George Road and Wayne Gretzky Parkway were blocked off from around 4 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Brant County Ontario Provincial Police say one person died at the scene.
“Due to the nature of the case, there is nothing further we can provide,” police tell CHCH News.
Drivers with dash camera footage or who saw anything unusual between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Monday on Highway 403 between King George Road and Wayne Gretzky Parkway near the West Street overpass are asked to contact Brant County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
