Halton police are investigating a serious collision on Trafalgar Road in Milton on Sunday, which they say sent four people to hospital with varying degrees of injuries.
Officers say a man on a white Yamaha motorcycle rear-ended a blue Mazda sedan on Trafalgar Road south of Britannia Road.
Police say the motorcyclist broke his leg as a result of the initial collision.
The driver of the Mazda, as well as two other drivers who were driving south on the road, got out of their vehicles to help the motorcyclist, according to officers, who were notified of the crash at around 4:40 a.m.

While the people were helping the man and waiting for emergency services, investigators say a grey Toyota minivan collided with them.
Officers say the motorcyclist and Mazda driver were taken to a Toronto hospital for serious injuries and the other drivers were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Halton Regional Police Service’s Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken over the investigation of this crash.
