Downton Abbey floral event to make global stop at Burlington’s Royal Botanical Gardens

A global floral event playing homage to the popular period drama Downton Abbey is making a stop this September at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington.
Fleurs de Villes Downton Abbey will be at the gardens from Sept. 12 to 21 and will feature displays created by regional floral designers
Floral mannequins in the show are inspired by the series’ quirky characters and iconic fashions, from Lady Mary’s sophisticated beaded gowns and statement hats to the tailored uniforms of the household staff.
The travelling show has only two Canadian stops on the world tour. It was at Vancouver’s VanDusen Botanical Garden at the end of May.
The much-awaited third Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, arrives exclusively in theatres on Sept. 12.
Tickets for the floral event are set to go on sale soon.
