CN Tower food, beverage workers reach deal after strike

The 250 food and beverage workers at Toronto’s CN Tower return to work after they were locked out for nearly two weeks.

Unifor says non-gratuity employees will receive a wage increase of 4.25 per cent and gratuity earners will see a raise of four per cent in the first year and 2.5 per cent over the next two years.

According to the CN Tower website, employees are expected to return to work on July 15 allowing the food and beverage services at the tower to resume operations.

The lockout did not affect the observation levels, EdgeWalk or the Shop, these services continue to be open daily.
