City of Hamilton closes part of Sherman Avenue North for roadwork

Sherman Avenue North in Hamilton will experience partial road closures from Sept. 29 to Oct. 5 for roadwork.

The closure — between Cannon Street East to Burlington Street East — will run nightly from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and is for the milling and resurfacing of the road.

The City of Hamilton says the reconstruction work is part of a larger infrastructure renewal project.

Transit will be detoured and emergency services and waste collection will not be affected.
