Burlington City Council to vote on beach homes

Burlington City Council is voting tonight on what to do with about 30 lakeshore homes.

The properties lie beneath the Burlington Skyway. The city is considering buying many of the properties to tear town and turn into a park, but exactly which houses will be torn down, and how many is confidential. Many homeowners want to know the fate of their homes.

If the city goes ahead with the plan, it could cost over $10-million.
