Blue Jays sign catcher Tony Sanchez

With two days till spring training begins for the Toronto Blue Jays’ pitchers and catchers, the club has announced on Friday that they have signed catcher, Tony Sanchez with a minor-league contract with an invite to major league spring training.

27 year old Sanchez was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2009 and has appeared in 51 games at the major-league level

Spring Training begins, February 21st in Dunedin.
