Arson suspect wanted in Brantford house fire

Brantford police are investigating a suspicious house fire earlier this week and are looking for a suspect.

Firefighters were called to a blaze at a home around 4 a.m. Monday morning in the area of Darling Street near Drummond Street.

Three young men inside managed to escape and called 911. Investigators have determined the fire started in the basement.

Police have released CCTV footage of a suspect who is described as white, with dark shoulder-length hair, and was wearing glasses, a black jacket with a fur-lined trim hood, checkered-coloured pajama pants, a winter hat and dark shoes.
