Armed gunman: Niagara police lock down Lincoln area, ask residents to shelter in place

Niagara police have locked down an area of Lincoln and have asked residents to shelter in place and not answer their doors as they search for an armed man.

The area of concern is Bismark Road between between Caistorville and Smithville roads.

PUBLIC ALERT – UPDATED INFORMATION

Police are currently in the area looking for an armed male, believed to be on foot.

Residents asked to shelter in place and not answer their door.

Members of the public are urged to call 911 if they any see suspicious activity and are asked to not approach the man, who is believed to be on foot.
