Anti-nuisance injunction in effect for McMaster homecoming weekend

McMaster University’s homecoming celebrations are happening this weekend, but the city doesn’t want the parties to be an issue.

An injunction order has been granted and will stay in effect until late Monday night. The order prohibits anyone from violating the city’s nuisance party by-law or attending a “nuisance party” within the neighbourhoods that surround the university.

The order does not apply to McMaster University’s official on-campus homecoming activities, which are being held Saturday.
