Another teen charged with attempted murder in Toronto shooting

TORONTO — A second teen has been charged with attempted murder after an exchange of gunfire last week in front of a west-end Toronto high school.

Police say a 31-year-old woman who was driving a vehicle near Keele Street and Donald Avenue was hit by gunfire on Sept. 3.

A 17-year-old boy who was also shot was arrested and charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm in a reckless manner and other counts.

Both were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police say another 17-year-old boy was arrested this week.

They say the Toronto teen faces several charges, including attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
