Brauon remains in custody and is scheduled to appear at a St. Catharines courthouse Wednesday.

Investigators arrested 54-year-old David Venketeswaran from St. Catharines at an earlier date in connection with the investigation, and charged him with possessing property obtained by crime under $5,000.
