Two suspects are at large after a lengthy car chase involving several police forces stretching more than 150 kilometres ended in Hamilton this morning.

Police say two suspects broke into an EB Games in Thornhill around 3 am and then took off in a stolen Honda Civic. They were followed by a York Regional Police helicopter, before officers from Halton, the OPP and Hamilton joined the pursuit.

The chase lasted about 2 hours and 160 kilometres — it was so long that police say the suspects had to stop at three different gas stations to refuel.

The suspects ditched the car at King and Jarvis Streets in Hamilton and escaped through an apartment building. Police are still looking for them.
