Chad Owens signs with Ticats

The Hamilton Ticats have announced that they have signed international free agent Chad Owens.

Owens started 13 regular season games in 2015 with the Toronto Argonauts, hauling in 55 catches for 570 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The receiver/kick returner has appeared in 90 career CFL games since 2009.

The Honolulu, Hawaii native has appeared in 90 career CFL games since 2009, accumulating 15,145 all-purpose yards and 28 total touchdowns with the Montreal Alouettes and Argonauts.

In 2012, Owens was named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player and won a Grey Cup with Toronto after setting a league record for combined yards in a season and leading the league in receiving yards.
