The world is remembering Phyllis Diller.
The woman known for her crackling laugh died today at the age of 95.
Her successful career took her around the world. But a night in a village near Cambridge back in 2001, was one that left her shaken. That’s when her limo driver died in a tragic accident. The driver got out of the limo on a winding driveway to ask for directions – but the limo was in neutral and it rolled backwards killing her.
At the time Diller spoke to CHCH News about what happened, and working through tragedy.
