Canada’s economy doing better than expected: RBC

First Published:

Economists at the Royal Bank Group say Canada’s growth appears to be stronger than previously thought.

RBC raised its estimate for the country’s 2013 economic growth to 1.9 per cent and says 2014 growth will be about 2.9 per cent. RBC credits the improved outlook due to a stronger U.S. performance and the financial health of Canadian corporations.
