Canada Day: what’s open and closed

Here’s a look at what’s open and closed in our area for Canada Day.

CLOSED:

  • Banks, government offices, libraries and post offices
  • LCBO and most grocery stores
  • Lime Ridge and Eastgate Square

Garbage collection in Hamilton and Halton will be pushed back by a day. There are no changes to garbage collection in Niagara.

Transit in Hamilton, Halton and Niagara will be running on a Sunday-holiday schedule.

GO Transit is running on a Saturday schedule.

Select Beer Stores will be open.
