Affordable housing boost

For the first time in over a decade the federal budget set aside badly needed cash for affordable housing. Across the country there are more than 200 000 people who are homeless every year. In Hamilton, thousands are struggling with the high cost of rent and could be on the streets in the event of a financial emergency.
