Brantford woman arrested in armed robbery

A Brantford woman is facing several charges in connection with an armed robbery on Sunday.

Police were called to a home on Park Rd. North around 11:15 p.m. to investigate a robbery.

Officers learned a woman, dressed in all black clothing, entered the home and pulled out a firearm. She robbed two male victims of prescription medication and cash.

A 36-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with robbery with a firearm, point firearm, careless use of firearm, firearm use while committing offence, possession of weapon for dangerous purposes, disguise with intent, break and enter dwelling – commit indictable offence, firearm or weapon and two counts of possession contrary to prohibition order.
