Brantford police release surveillance video in 2019 murder of Hamilton man

Brantford police have released new surveillance video as they continue to investigate the 2019 murder of a Hamilton man.

Police were called to a reported shooting in the 100 block of Colborne St. W in Brantford around 3:30 a.m. on July 8, 2019.

Coby “Kareem” Carter, 22, of Hamilton, was found dead at the scene.

Brantford Police and OPP have been investigating.

They have released surveillance video containing what they say is images of a person of interest in the investigation.

Another individual, a potential witness, is also seen in the video.

It was taken about an hour before the shooting.

There is a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder.
