Brantford police have arrested a man and seized weapons and over $20,000 in illegal drugs.

On Thursday, June 9, Brantford Police Service Tactical Intelligence Generated Enforcement and Response Unit (TIGER) completed a firearms investigation.

Police executed a search warrant at an address on Lynwood Drive. As a result of the search, officers seized a handgun, rifle, ammunition, six edged weapons, fentanyl and cocaine among others.

Andrew McLeod, 33, of Winnipeg is charged with multiple offences including possession for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a firearm and more.
