Brant businesses band together to support local food bank

First Published:

Businesses in Brantford have banded together to support their local food bank.

Ironstone Entrance Technologies launched an initiative dubbed “Brant Businesses Answer the Call – COVID-19 Response.”

The goal is to raise at least $10,000 in donations to purchase 10 full pallets of food for the food bank by Friday.

Over 60 businesses have already signed on to participate and raised over $6,000 in donations.

“We need more good news for our community and the world and that’s why our company has launched this special campaign,” said Cam Bell, co-founder and co-owner of Ironstone Entrance Technologies in a news release. “Sure, we run a successful business, but when we heard that our local Food Bank’s shelves are bare, we immediately stepped up to the plate and we know our collective efforts will put a smile on everyone’s faces during these unprecedented times.”

Any local businesses in Brantford that want to help support the campaign, can contact Ironstone at 866-268-2262, or email feedbrantford@ietinc.ca.
