Body of missing boater, 74, found in Lake Erie: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Haldimand County have found the body of an elderly man who has been missing since June 16.

Around 5:20 p.m., police received a call for a missing 74-year-old boater who had gone fishing on Lake Erie at 4 a.m. and had not yet returned.

Victim services have contacted his family members.

More information will be released as it becomes available.
