Interim Liberal leader Bob Rae says he won’t rule out a bid to permanently lead the Liberals.
Rae has been acting as the interim leader since the Liberal party suffered an unprecedented loss in the 2011 federal election.
The current rules governing the party do not allow for an interim leader to seek the permanent leadership position, but with a national convention just three days away, those rules could change.
During the three-day meeting in Ottawa this week, Liberal members will elect a new national executive board, which will be responsible for setting the rules.
