Blood Brother tells the story of Rocky Braat,  an American graphic designer who quit his job and decided to travel the world. On a whim Rocky stopped at an AIDS orphanage in Chennai, India and befriended the children living there.  When it came time to leave, Rocky decided to give up his life in the States and live with the children.

The film is directed by Steve Hoover, Rocky’s best friend, who follows him to India to find out what compelled him to give up a comfortable life and dedicate himself to the orphanage.

While its not the typical holiday film, Blood Brother is a great choice this holiday season, especially since all filmmaker proceeds from the film are donated to the children seen in the film and to HIV/AIDS initiatives.
