BlackBerry Q10 begins sales

First Published:

The long-awaited BlackBerry Q10 hits store shelves in Toronto today.

The phone will be available for just under $200 on a three year contract. The Q10 has the BlackBerry physical keyboard that was popular on its older phones. The company began selling its Z10 phones with a virtual keyboard and touch screen earlier this year. Both devices operate on the company’s new BB10 operating system.

The new phone successfully launched in Britain over the weekend and is set to go on sale in the U.S. at the end of this month, although a date hasn’t been announced yet.
