The summer reports of the Ellen Degeneres show being a toxic workplace are taking their toll on the show’s ratings now that the fall season is underway.
Three producers were fired after the reports indicated the workplace was rife with bullying and sexual innuendo.
Even though Ellen offered an apology to her viewers during the premiere week, ratings were down a whopping 38 percent from the same week a year earlier.
Most daytime talk shows showed declines, other than Tamron Hall and Live with Kelly and Ryan which were up slightly.
